As generations Y and Z, we experience this world differently. We appreciate today and live it to the fullest, without postponing happiness for later. We know that we are not eternal, and we realize that art lives as long as we enjoy it. That's why we created the CUTOUT festival in Kyiv, which is an inexhaustible celebration of a technique that demonstrates a new, radical knowledge of the present and will help expand the perception of contemporary art.
This is the first contemporary collage festival in Ukraine that will open to the world a fast, unusual, emotional and intuitive, endless direction in art - collage. This is a philosophy of changing an ideal reality, already created by someone, into our own unusual narrative.
AIM: to promote collage as an integral part of contemporary art; MISSION: to acquaint the masses with one of the latest revolutionary trends in art, its history and techniques.
The Museum of the History and Modernity of Kyiv was established on November 14, 1978. The museum collection has more than 280,000 museum items of the main and almost 31,500 research and support funds and consists of archaeological, numismatic, ethnographic collections, as well as thematic complexes of the modern period. These two locations are located in one of the main cities of Kyiv, in the very center, which emphasizes the importance and historicity of the moment.
Founded in 1993. During this time, a creative organization was created on its basis, presenting works of contemporary Ukrainian art on the Ukrainian art market, more than a thousand regular public presentations were held: exhibitions, performances, video shows, etc. The gallery's activities are characterized by two strategic directions of development: curatorial projects that reflect current processes and trends in contemporary world and Ukrainian art and more traditional presentations of artists with whom the gallery has been working for many years.
