About the project
“Collage predicts the future and shows how the past has changed. One of the first experimental collage artists was Dr. Frankenstein, who successfully performed the extremely complex operation of connecting the unconnected and reviving a dead image by creating connotative connections, exploiting the illusions of fusion and mutation. Dr. Frankenstein was well aware that he himself was a collage, a mortal collage, just like each of us. That is why he hoped to create a collage that would come to life. We, Frankenstein's children, continue his work and travel along the winding seams, joints, and overlays in search of a place that will receive the healing spark.
It is impossible to get used to collage, because it causes indignation and unwillingness to recognize the use of someone else's property, it teases with ridicule and even mockery. The collage is omnipotent because it has long since absorbed civilization. There is no place on earth that is not a collage. Thinking is a priori collage” - O. Lyapin.
