As a child, she attended painting and academic drawing classes. In 2008, she received a master's degree in finance from the Kyiv National University of Economics named after Vadym Hetman (KNEU).

From 2008 to 2011, she worked in the field of insurance. In 2011, she became interested in modern art, charity and participated in the organization of the charity auction "Our Children" with the support of the "Dukat" auction house. In 2013, together with Kostyantyn Klimashenko and with the support of the "Dukat" gallery, she organized the second charity auction "Our Children", which took place in the "Tryptich Art" gallery. A lot of the auction was the works of famous modern Ukrainian artists, such as O. Roitburd, A. Kryvolap, and O. Zhivotkov.

A personal exhibition of collages entitled «Through other people's faces» was held in early 2021 at the Museum of History of Kyiv. Developing an art career in Ukraine, she felt the need to promote collage as an art on the art market of Ukraine. This was the impetus for Katya in March 2021 to organize together with Annete Sagal and Olga Syta CUTOUT - the first in Ukraine festival of modern collage, which featured artists in the direction of collage from 11 countries and Ukraine.

In the summer, together with Annete Sagal and Olga Syta, they opened the first in Ukraine collage workshop space CUTOUT COLLAGE STUDIO.

ARTWORKS

Every year I became more and more interested in contemporary art, and galleries became a part of my life.

2014 was a landmark year when I started my business by opening KS Design Studio for tailoring. The case made me realize that I want to spend even more time creative. I am always overwhelmed by many emotions, which I invest in my collages. My tools are pieces of fabric, colors, textures. They create a composition of thoughts and feelings.
