Charity online auction of unique collages on the theme of NO WASTE from No Waste Ukraine and Cutout Collage Festival & Studio.
They are unique because they were created from paper waste from a sorting station. Initially, the employees of the station sorted glossy magazines from waste paper runs, and the collage artists found stories for their future works on those pages.
Together we managed to raise over UAH 11,000. We sent these funds (excluding the costs of framing) to the Kharkiv help charity. To the fearless guys who evacuate people from hot spots and on foot carry grocery kits to the apartments of dilapidated high-rises, where people still live.
7 collages were presented at the auction. Each of them is about an artistic vision of human's relationship with the Planet. It is a kind of visual meditation on the daily routine that affects ourselves and the surrounding space.
