About the event
On February 22, 2022, a group exhibition of collage opened at the Mytets Art Gallery. The exhibition featured 28 authors, some of whom are residents of CUTOUT COLLAGE STUDIO, CUOUT LOVERS and other famous authors.
Collage, as a progressive method in the fine arts - allows you to combine several elements in one composition. And very often it's pieces and pieces of magazines, paper, cloth, sometimes even garbage and other unusual things.
This exhibition brings together authors with different styles that share with us segments of life that symbolically consist of parts of completely different fragments. As in life. Very often we attach importance to someone's element, segment, piece of our history and do not want to look at the picture as a whole, which prevents us from moving and understanding events and feelings. If you immerse yourself in a collage with your head, standing at work - catch your meanings, your experiences, everyone sees for himself his important segment.
28 collage artists with different life paths, but with one passion - shred, cut and glue the whole philosophy of life through very simple and familiar things.
CUTOUT LOVERS is a project created for holding exhibitions outside the studio in cultural institutions of Ukraine with collages from all over Ukraine.
Unfortunately, the exhibition lasted only 2 days, and then the enemy came to Ukraine with the war.
